Welcome to Aster (asterdefi.gr.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the decentralized finance platform, decentralized exchange (DEX), and related DeFi services provided by Aster ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Aster, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Aster.
1. Eligibility
By accessing or using Aster, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- You have the full power and authority to enter into and comply with these Terms.
- Your access to or use of Aster is not prohibited or restricted by the laws or regulations of your jurisdiction.
- You are not a resident, citizen, or entity of any jurisdiction where use of decentralized finance platforms or DEX services is prohibited by law, regulation, or embargo.
2. Services Offered
Aster provides a decentralized platform enabling users to:
- Swap, trade, and exchange supported digital assets via a decentralized exchange (DEX).
- Access additional decentralized finance (DeFi) services such as staking, liquidity provision, and yield farming, subject to availability.
- Interact with smart contracts deployed on supported blockchain networks.
Aster is a non-custodial platform. We do not hold, manage, or have access to users' private keys, digital assets, or funds. All transactions are executed directly on the blockchain via smart contracts.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for securing your private keys, wallet credentials, and access to your digital assets. Aster will never request your private keys.
- You are responsible for your use of the platform, including all transactions and interactions with smart contracts.
- You agree not to use Aster for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activity, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, or circumventing sanctions.
- You must ensure that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
4. Risks
By using Aster, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
- Market Risk: The value of digital assets can be volatile. You may lose some or all of your funds.
- Smart Contract Risk: Transactions are executed by smart contracts, which may contain errors or vulnerabilities. Losses due to smart contract failures are possible.
- Regulatory Risk: Changes in laws or regulations may impact your ability to use Aster or affect the value of digital assets.
- Technical Risk: Aster may be subject to bugs, hacking, denial-of-service attacks, or other technical failures.
Aster does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult with appropriate professionals before making any decisions involving digital assets.
5. No Custody or Control
Aster is a decentralized, non-custodial platform. We do not have access to, custody of, or control over your digital assets or private keys. All actions on Aster are executed directly by you via your preferred wallet. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and recovery information.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use Aster (asterdefi.gr.com) to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illicit activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, its systems, or other users' information.
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access or interact with the platform, except as expressly permitted.
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on Aster (asterdefi.gr.com) are the property of Aster or its licensors, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on Aster without our express written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
8. Disclaimers
- Aster is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that Aster will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information on Aster.
- You use Aster at your own risk. We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or claims arising from your use of Aster, including but not limited to losses due to market volatility, smart contract vulnerabilities, or user error.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aster, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of Aster (asterdefi.gr.com), regardless of the form of action and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed $100 USD or the equivalent in digital assets.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aster, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of Aster, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any other person or entity.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Aster may provide links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for such third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.
12. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on asterdefi.gr.com with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Aster after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. Please review these Terms regularly.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Aster, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms or engage in any prohibited activity. Upon termination, your right to use Aster will immediately cease.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of Aster (asterdefi.gr.com) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction applicable to the operators of Aster, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Aster shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by Aster.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be modified to reflect the parties' intention or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Aster regarding your use of Aster (asterdefi.gr.com) and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations.
